ICv2 has learned from multiple sources that Watson-Guptill, a premier American publisher of books about art and artistic techniques will, in the near future, announce an arrangement with Digital Manga.  Watson-Guptill is expected to announce that it will be distributing several volumes published by Digital Manga.  While this agreement could eventually involve various books explaining the techniques behind the creation of manga and anime, it is not expected to affect the distribution of the popular line of Graphic-Sha 'How To Draw Manga' volumes, which will continue to be distributed by Digital Manga.

Watson-Guptill, a leader in the field of instructional art books, already publishes a line of books under a license from DC Comics, which includes separate DC Comics Guides covering writing, inking, and penciling -- as well as an unlicensed series of books by Christopher Hart on drawing manga, manga villains, mecha, and anime.
