Diamond Comic Distributors has announced that it is importing a new series of action figures based on characters from the most recent game in the prolific Final Fantasy franchise.  Final Fantasy X was the first Playstation 2 game to sell more than 2 million units and its sequel, Final Fantasy X-2, has already sold 1.9 million units in Japan alone.   To insure that these collectible figures are out in plenty of time to take advantage of seasonal sales, Diamond is guaranteeing that they will be in stores by October 8.

The Japanese company Square-Enix produces these highly detailed and intricately painted action figures.  Three figures are available, including a 7' tall Paine with 16 points of articulation, a 6' tall Rikku with 15 points of articulation, and a 6' tall Yuna with 20 points of articulation.  Each figure comes with a base and an extra interchangeable hand that is holding a weapon.
