Invader Zim, the paranoid alien from the planet Irk who believed he was at the head of an invasion force, will have his animated episodes collected on three double disc DVD sets beginning in the spring of 2004.  AnimeWorks, a division of Media Blasters, will also release a limited edition boxed set of the series.

Invader Zim creator Jhonen Vasquez has also gained notoriety for his comics work on titles such as Johnny the Homicidal Maniac, I Feel Sick and SQUEE!

First airing on Nickelodeon in 2001, Invader Zim has had episodes rerun since then (see 'Speed Racer and Invader Zim on Nickelodeon Slam'), and is currently part of the Nicktoons lineup.
