Fantasy Flight Games has licensed the rights to produce the Call of Cthulhu collectible card game from Chaosium, Inc. Chaosium's Call of Cthulhu RPG, based on the works of H.P. Lovecraft, has been around since the early 1980s. FFG has previously published a campaign book for the Call of Cthulhu d20 RPG, and a line of Cthulhu LARP products.
This new game will not be compatible with or related to the Mythos collectible card game published by Chaosium in the late 90s.
In addition to the RPG and LARP, The Call of Cthulhu CCG will join plush toys (see 'Toy Vault Plans More Cthulhu, Python') and the books as available merchandise in a Cthulhu vein.
