Tokyopop has announced it will ship the first issues of five new manga titles on June 4th.

The Seikai Trilogy:  Crest of the Stars is a science fiction/action/adventure series adapted from the hit anime, which was inspired by Hiroyuki Morioka's bestselling novels.  Aya Yoshinaga and Toshihiro Ono are the creative team of this three-part series.  The Crest of the Stars anime aired on Tech TV for a time earlier this year (see 'Tech TV's Anime Offerings'), and has been available on DVD from Bandai.

Remote is an ultra-violent horror cop story from Seimaru Amagi and Tetsuya Koshiba, which inspired a television drama in Japan.

Comic Party, by Sekihiko Inui, is a comedy about a struggling artist consumed by reading and drawing manga.

Deus Vitae is a science fiction story by Takuya Fujima about a super computer that is eradicating the human race.

Immortal Rain, by Kaori (Hitsuji-No-Hana and Honeymoon) Ozaki, takes an unusual look at the predator-prey relationship.

These five new anime titles debuting in June join seven other new titles from Tokyopop already announced for April and May release (see 'TokyoPop Announces Seven New Manga') to provide a wealth of new material.
