The Wheel of Time series, by The New York Times bestselling fantasy author Robert Jordan, will be adapted into comic/graphic novel format by DB Productions, joining several other adaptations on the company's schedule (see 'DB Productions Licenses Majipoor Short Story' and 'Roaring Studios Hedges Bets With Devil's Due'). 

 

A New Spring, the next novel from Jordan (to be released in January), is a prequel to The Eye of the World, which is the original starting point of the series. 

 

The Wheel of Time:  A New Spring, the working title of the adaptation, will be released on a monthly basis by Devil's Due Publishing, beginning in the spring.
