Wizards of the Coast has confirmed to ICv2 that it will raise prices on both booster packs and decks for its flagship Magic the Gathering CCG.  The price changes will take effect with the release of Darksteel, the next Magic Expansion, which is due out on February 6.

WotC is raising the suggested retail on booster packs from $3.29 per pack to $3.69.  The suggested retail price for both starter and tournament deck will jump from $9.99 to $11.29.  The price of a Magic booster pack will still be below that of Yu-Gi-Oh boosters, which usually retail in the $4 range.
