NECA has released photos of its collector-oriented figures based on the recent pairing of horror icons Feddy Krueger (Nightmare on Elm St.) and Jason (Friday the Thirteenth) in Freddy vs. Jason. NECA has a boxed set of action figures of the two fiends due out in March at a msrp of $25. Obviously action figures from 'R' rated films are targeted at older collectors, but the Freddy & Jason Resin Figures, which were based on the 2-up sculpts for the action figures, are aimed at very well heeled collectors, since the msrp for the figures is $300. Collectors will get a lot of resin for their money however, since Jason is 16' tall and Freddy is 13.5.' The resin figures are also due to ship in March.
In April, the Talking 18' Freddy Krueger Action Figure makes his debut. With a vocabulary encompassing four phrases and an extra head, the figure should retail in the $35-40 range.
