According to The Hollywood Reporter, Marvel Vice Chairman Peter Cuneo, speaking at an investment forum in Philadelphia, put a number on Marvel's movie ambitions.  The article quotes Cuneo as saying, 'The goal for Marvel is to have 15 'James Bond-type' franchises going at any given time in filmed entertainment and in licensing.'  Marvel has close to that many properties in some stage of development now (see 'More Marvel Movie News'), and has recently hired a studio president to oversee its movie and TV initiatives (see 'Marvel Hires New Studio President').

Cuneo also mentioned that Marvel had spoken to Pixar about future Marvel film projects.  Since its divorce from Disney (see 'Pixar Pulls the Plug'), Pixar may be looking for new partners for its animated films.
