Decipher is reporting that .hack//ENEMY: Contagion, the first release for the .hack CCG, is completely sold out at the manufacturer level; Decipher no longer has either Starter Sets or Booster Packs available.  The product is still available at the retail and distributor levels, but retailers wishing to restock should not hesitate.

In less than two weeks (February 18) Decipher will release its first expansion, .hack//ENEMY: Distortion, which will add 130 new cards to the game including the highly anticipated Tsukasa card.  The new series will include 36 common, 36 uncommon, 36 rare, 12 Xtra Rare, and 10 premium foil cards.  Two new 60-card Starter Decks (MSRP $11.99) will be made up of cards from both the Contagion and Distortion releases as well as 5 new starter-only premium foil cards.  The eleven-card Booster Packs (MSRP $3.29) will include one rare or Xtra rare plus a mixture of commons and uncommons.  Xtra Rare cards will be randomly inserted at a ratio of one per every eight boosters.

The multi-media .hack//SIGN property has been a major hit in all its many formats including the best-selling manga series (from Tokyopop), a popular series of anime DVDs from Bandai, and an equally popular PS 2 video game.
