Variety is reporting that the fifth Batman movie, which Christopher Nolan (Memento) is due to start directing this month in Iceland and London, will be entitled Batman Begins, not Batman: Intimidation or Batman: Intimidation Game as had previously been reported (see 'Morgan Freeman, Liam Neeson Set for Batman: Intimidation').  According to Variety Warner Brothers has been using the 'Intimidation title as a code name to thwart fans from following the projects development.'  As the new name suggests, Batman Begins is an origins story and the action in the film predates the Cape Crusader's capers in his previous four feature length films, Batman, Batman Returns, Batman Forever, and Batman & Robin.

The stellar cast for the new Batman Begins film is nearly complete with the addition of Japanese actor Ken Watanabe, nominated for Best Supporting Actor for his role in The Last Samurai, who will play the terrorist villain Ra's Al-Ghul.
