With its sale from Humanoids to Eric J. Gibson and Purgatory Publishing now complete, West End Games is once again ready to field a full line of role-playing products.  The new West End Game line is built around the D6 gaming system, which the company refined over 15 years of use in games such as Men in Black, DC Universe, and the award-winning Star Wars RPG.  Purgatory's Eric Gibson is eager to get West End back on track, stating:  'No time will be wasted in putting new West End Games products on the shelf.  Plans include the printing of the extremely popular D6 system, the continued development of Torg 2.0, and the acquisition of new licenses.'

West End plans to issue three new 144-page hardcover D6 rulebooks starting with the D6 Adventures Rulebook in May, followed by the D6 Space Rulebook in June, and the D6 Fantasy Rulebook in July.  Each rulebook has a cover price of $29.95 and when all three rulebooks are placed together (with D6 Adventure in the middle) the covers form a stunning panoramic image.  West End plans to quickly flesh out the rulebooks with related sourcebooks starting with D6 Fantasy Creatures ($12.95) in August, followed by D6 Adventure Locations ($12.95) in September, D6 Bloodshadows Worldbook ($12.95) in October, and D6 Space Ships in November.  Other 2004 releases include the D6 Drama Deck, which allows players to have more control over game play in December, as well as a revised and expanded edition of the Torg RPG written by Torg guru Jim Ogle, which will be released in July.
