At its recent annual presentation in New York City, the Sci Fi Channel announced it will be producing a half-hour comedy based on Mike (Hellboy) Mignola's Amazing Screw-On Head, which was published in comic format by Dark Horse Comics and won last year's Best Humor Publication Eisner Award (see 'DC, Fantagraphics Dominate Eisner Awards').  The Amazing Screw-On Head comedy will be executive-produced by Bryan (Wonderfalls) Fuller.  It should gain additional attention thanks to Mignola's new celebrity (see 'Hellboy's #1!').   

 

Sci Fi Channel also announced that comic industry legend Stan Lee will produce three action movies under the title Stan Lee Movies, which will air as part of Sci Fi's 2005-2006 season's 'Saturday Action' block.
