Alderac Entertainment Group is planning a number of major new releases for August, including the largest d20 release in history, the World's Largest Dungeon, which will retail for a record $99.95.  Slated to be between 800 and 1,000 pages, this massive book will include nearly 1 million words and 100 maps.  Every monster in the SRD is included.  Alderac broke new pricing ground with its first Stargate RPG release last summer at $50; at $99.95, this will be the most expensive RPG product ever by factor of two.

Alderac also plans a Legend of the Five Rings expansion for August.  Wrath of the Emperor will be released in 84-card decks and 15-card boosters at MSRPs of $11.99 and $3.29, respectively.  It will include over 150 new cards and three new strongholds.

Taking LO5R in a different direction, Alderac also plans a LO5R Live Action Role Playing book for release in August.  Based on rules used in the past for LARPs at major game conventions, it will be made available to a wider audience in a 6' x 9' trade paperback format at an MSRP of $25.

And Gencon would not be complete without a new Stargate release; in this case it's First Steps:  The Stargate Unexplored Worlds Sourcebook at $26.95.  A 176-page trade paperback, Unexplored Worlds will feature background and mechanics for an all-new collection of original worlds not from the TV show, miniature adventures for every world, and advance rules for world creation, including detailed cultural and plot device options.
