A television series based on Warren Ellis' Global Frequency graphic novel is slated to be a mid-season replacement on the WB network.  The pilot episode will be shot in July, and if all goes well, the series could be on the air by the start of 2005.  The Frog describes Global Frequency as 'the most original conspiracy saga since the X-Files,' and the series has some powerful producers behind it including Mark Burnett, the dean of 'reality TV' who is making his dramatic series debut with GF, and John Rogers, who is producing the Catwoman movie for Warner Brothers.

Writing in his Bad Signal newsletter Warren Ellis appeared pleased with the positioning of the GF series: 'This is good for us. Pressure's off to an extent, we get a far broader pick of actors, that kind of thing.'
