ComicsOne is readying two new manga titles for the fall.  Towa Oshima's High School Girls debuts in August followed by Yu Aikawa's zombie-infested horror title Dark Edge in September. High School Girls is based on the author's own experiences at an all-girls private high school in Japan and it provides plenty of humor as well as the drama of a film like Heathers, which examines high school cliques and rivalries.  High School Girls should have a strong appeal to female manga readers here in the States.

Dark Edge is also a 'high school' tale, but the Yotsuji Private High School described in this tale is far from ordinary, with its strange 'no students on campus after dark' rule.  In this action comedy the protagonists are high school boys and they have to fend off attacks from a faculty of zombies!  Horror manga such as Hellsing and Pet Shop of Horrors have done very well here in the States, and Dark Edge could catch on as well.
