Variety is reporting that producers Ronald Shusett and Daniel Alter have secured the option to Jordan Raskin's forthcoming mini-series from Top Cow, Industry of War.  Shusett, who co-created Fox's Alien series and was a producer on Minority Report and Total Recall (both of which were adapted from stories by Phillip K. Dick) will write the screenplay along with Raskin, creator of Top Cow's Ripclaw series. 

The plot for Industry of War revolves around two undercover government agents who are charged with tracking down missing items of military technology before the hi-tech gear falls into the wrong hands.  Shusett told Variety, 'Not only is the concept franchise-able, but the two main characters whose job is to lead the track-and-retrieve operations for these lost items are deep enough to sustain further installments.'
