Two OVAs (original video animations) of JoJo's Bizarre Adventures have been licensed for the U.S. market.   Synch-Point, a division of Digital Manga, will be doing the translation for subtitles, voice-over casting, and the recordings of the English voice-overs.  Super Techno Arts, a subsidiary of APPP, the studio that animated JoJo's Bizarre Adventures in the first place, will handle the post-production.

The JoJo's Bizarre Adventures OVAs are based on the long running manga series by Hirohiko Araki (Fist of the Northstar), which appeared in the hugely popular Japanese weekly comic anthology  Shonen Jump. JoJo's Bizarre Adventures is best known in the U.S. thanks to the Capcom video game that based on the property.

Synch-Point recently announced the release of Tenshi Ni Naru Mon, (see 'Anime Addams Family Heads for U.S.'), which like JoJo's Bizarre Adventures will be distributed in the U.S. by Digital Manga.  No details about pricing and format are available yet for JoJo's Bizarre Adventures, but it is clear that Synch-Point and Digital Manga are making a strong move into the American anime market.
