According to ComingSoon.net Paramount has begun shooting the live action Aeon Flux film, which stars Charlize Theron and Francis McDormand.  Based on the MTV anime-influenced cartoon series by Peter Chung, Aeon Flux is an intrigue filled-saga of revolution and betrayal set 1000 years in the future.  Shooting is slated to end in November, which means that the effects-laden science fiction film could see release in 2005.

There isn't much merchandise available for Aeon Flux at this time except for the DVD of Peter Chung's original animated series and a trade paperback from Dimensions, Aeon Flux: The Herodotus File, but the situation should change as the debut of the live action film draws nearer.
