DC Direct, the increasingly important unit responsible for the production of all sorts of merchandise based on DC Comics characters, is creating a series of PVCs based on the cast of the new Smallville television series. Premiering this fall on the WB Network, Smallville will chronicle the pastoral mid-western boyhood of the Man of Steel, a refugee from a dying planet who was found and brought up by the Kent family of Smallville.
Details on the PVCs, which will be sold as a collector's set , were not available at press time. Stay tuned for more information as it becomes available.
