Alan Moore, Tony Millionaire, Chris Ware, P. Craig Russell, and Jill Thompson all won multiple Eisner Awards at this year's San Diego ComicCon International in San Diego.  Dark Horse and DC led the publishers with five Eisners each, while ABC garnered four, Fantagraphics three, and Image, Sirius, and Pantheon Books all received two.

 

Joe Sacco won the coveted Best Graphic Album prize for Safe Area Gorzade, while Drawn & Quarterly #3 was judged Best Anthology.  Alex Robinson (Top Shelf) won Talent Deserving of Wider Recognition.
