Eros Comix, an imprint of Fantagraphics, and Airship Entertainment/Studio Foglio have signed agreements with Diamond Book Distributors making DBD the exclusive U.S. and non-exclusive worldwide distributor of the English language editions of its graphic novels and books to the bookstore, library, warehouse club and mass merchandise markets.

Although Diamond claimed in its press release to 'be Eros Comix's exclusive worldwide distributor to the comics specialty market,' a spokesman for Fantagraphics told ICv2 that Eros and Fantagraphics books would continue to be available to direct market comic book retailers through FM International, Cold Cut and other specialty distributors.

In the Airship Entertainment/Studio Foglio press release Diamond announced that it '...will also be Airship's exclusive worldwide distributor to the comics specialty market, with a few exceptions.'  The 'exceptions' in this case include FM International, Cold Cut and other specialty distributors to comic book and game retailers.  Airship/Studio Foglio titles of note include Buck Godot, Phil and Dixie and Girl Genius.
