Geneon is launching the Ultramaniac anime series in April with the release of DVD and Collectors Box editions.  The new title will street April 5th.  The regular DVD edition is at a $24.98 MSRP; the Collectors Box edition at $34.98.   Each DVD will contain four episodes

 

Ultramaniac is based on the manga by Wataru Yoshizumi, who also did Marmalade Boy.  Character designs for the anime are by Miho Shimogasa, who did Gravitation; art direction is by Kazuhiro Takahashi, who did Galaxy Angel.
