W.W. Norton & Company, which is publishing comic book grandmaster Will Eisner's final graphic novel, The Plot: The Secret Story of the Protocols of the Elders of Zion, this May, has acquired the worldwide rights to all fourteen graphic novels created by Eisner.  Norton plans to publish this graphic novel backlist in a series of three mammoth hardcover volumes starting with The Contract With God Trilogy: Life on Dropsie Avenue, a 500-page collection of Eisner's depression-era Bronx tales, which will include the groundbreaking A Contract With God, originally published in 1978, and its two companion volumes along with many new illustrations, a new introduction and linking text.

The Contract With God Trilogy is slated for a November 2005 release.  Two additional hardcover volumes, which will include the remainder of Eisner's graphic novel oeuvre, will come out in the fall of 2006 and the fall of 2007.  Norton also plans to publish each of Eisner's 14 graphic novels individually in trade paperback editions.
