RC2 has formed a new division, JoyRide Entertainment, to produce and market  trading card games.  According to the announcement, JoyRide will 'launch several titles based on cutting-edge properties.'

 

RC2 has assembled a team of game industry veterans for its new initiative.  Ian Ryan of Sabertooth will be lead designer.  Trevor McGregor, formerly head of all Decipher organized play, and Edward Bolme, formerly of Wizards of the Coast and Interactive Imagination have also joined JoyRide. 

 

RC2 (nee Racing Champions) produces die-cast toy car collectibles, action figures, toys, and apparel.
