 Decipher Announces 'FLIcK'In-Theater DistributionPublished: 05/06/2005 12:00am Decipher has announced the upcoming release of the first issue of FLIcK, a new 32-page digest-sized magazine to be distributed free through movie theaters. Each issue will focus on a single movie; the first will feature Star Wars Episode III: Revenge of the Sith. The magazine will be ad-supported; initial circulation is 2.5 million. Decipher will distribute FLIcK through three of the top five theater chains in the U.S., with 7,647 screens in 796 locations in 44 states and the District of Columbia. They are Loews Cineplex Entertainment, Cinemark Theatres, and Carmike Cinemas. Nine other FLIcK issues are planned this year, 'tentatively' covering the following movies: Batman Begins War of the Worlds Charlie & The Chocolate Factory Pink Panther Chicken Little Harry Potter & the Goblet of Fire Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, the Witch & the Wardrobe King Kong The Producers Content will include star interviews, photography from the set, other insider coverage, and columns by Paul Gilmartin and Christian Finnegan. Decipher currently publishes the Star Trek and Lord of the Rings fan club magazines. |
