Papercutz, the publishers of Nancy Drew, Hardy Boys and Zorro graphic novels, has signed with Holtzbrinck Publishers (St. Martin's Press, Farrar Straus & Giroux) for distribution to the U.S. booktrade starting on October 1, 2005.  In addition to its own books Holtzbrinck also distributes titles from a number of other major publishers including Rodale and Wizards of the Coast.

Papercutz has just launched its line of graphic novels for tweens this spring, adapting manga-style graphics to a pocket size, 96-page full color format.  The Papercutz graphic novels feature popular licensed characters in all new stories.  The first Papercutz Nancy Drew graphic novel has already sold out its first printing and gone back to press.

In addition to its Nancy Drew series Papercutz is publishing Hardy Boys graphic novels and will launch its first Zorro title on the eve of the release of the new Legend of Zorro movie starring Antonio Banderas and Catherine Zeta-Jones, which debuts on October28.
