Best Sellers Illustrated has begun a public relations and advertising campaign in support of its War of the Worlds manga-style graphic novel (see 'War of the Worlds Graphic Novel').  TV advertising is running in the New York metropolitan area, the setting for the Best Sellers graphic novel, beginning June 9th.  The ad, based on the Internet trailer the company released last month (see 'War of the Worlds Trailer'), will run on MTV's All Eyes on Tom Cruise (a half hour interview show tied into the release of the WotW movie) and MTV Movie Awards, and the Howard Stern show on E!.  Best Sellers also expects national media coverage to begin soon from its public relations campaign in support of the book.
