4Kids Entertainment has announced that it will preview the shoujo anime series Magical Doremi on Saturday, August 13th at 9:30 am (ET, PT).  Magical Doremi (see '4Kids Acquires Magical Doremi') will start its regular run on September 10th.  4Kids Entertainment is pioneering (at least among over-the air TV broadcasters) the broadcasting of cartoon series aimed primarily at young female viewers. In addition to Magical Doremi, this Saturday's lineup also includes Mew Mew (the American version of the shoujo series Tokyo Mew Mew), and Winx Club.

Five of the eight 4Kids shows slated for this Saturday morning are anime series: Mew Mew, Magical Doremi, Sonic X, One Piece and Shaman King.
