Bandai is reducing prices on the first series products of its Navia Dratp CMG in the run-up to its second release.  Retail prices on Navia Dratp Unleashed Darkness Starters will be reduced from $29.99 to $14.99; and prices on Navia Dratp Unleashed Darkness Boosters will be reduced from $8.99 to $4.99, effective to retailers on September 12th.

Partially as price protection for in-stock inventory and partially as promotion for its second series product, Resurgence (see 'Navia Dratp Expansion this Fall'), Bandai will be distributing an eight-card limited edition foil card free through distributors in September.  The set, limited to 2000, will depict upcoming Resurgence figures.

Bandai is also expanding its organized play program for Navia Dratp.  In the expanded program, three levels of special figures will be used as premiums.  A Ghost Set will be used as entry prizes for organized play events; glow-in-the-dark figures will be prizes for winners; and gold base figures will be made available to Bandai's game organizers, called meijin (masters).  Most of Bandai's meijin are retailers (although a few are not).  A Bandai spokesperson told ICv2 that its organized play events had grown four-fold in the three months prior to Gen Con.

Bandai has also begun airing a series of anime episodes featuring the property on its Website.  The first of the series of five anime premieres today, with new episodes following every two weeks.
