Corgi, one of the world's leading producers of die-cast scale models, has signed a license agreement to produce exclusive die-cast replicas featuring Nick Park's Wallace & Gromit, stars of the new claymation epic, The Curse of the Were Rabbit.  The film has already earned more than $50 million at the domestic box office since it opened on October 8th (see 'Wallace & Gromit Top Box Office').

Corgi plans to release a die-cast replica model of the Anti Pesto Van used by the intrepid duo to battle the long-eared garden pests, as well as die-cast figures of Wallace and Gromit in S.W.A.T. outfits and a model of Gromit's newest invention -- the Bun-Vac.  Corgi's three-year Wallace & Gromit licensing arrangement gives the company a die-cast exclusive for the U.S., the U.K., and Ireland.

In addition to the forthcoming Corgi die-cast Wallace & Gromit items, which are already available in England, there is a growing amount of Wallace & Gromit merchandise available here now, including figures from MacFarlane Toys, books from Penguin, and a variety of items from Cards, Inc.
