All three seasons of Sid & Marty Kroft's pioneering live action, time-traveling kids' series, Land of the Lost, will be available in one giant box set due out from Rhino next month.  Anyone wishing to recall the amazing adventures of the Marshall family, who were stranded on a plateau populated by rumbling dinosaurs, hostile reptilian humanoids (aka 'Sleestaks'), and really strange characters like Cha-Ka, the monkey boy, can't go wrong with this elaborate box set (SRP $99.95) from Rhino Home Video that includes every episode of the groundbreaking series that ran on Saturday mornings from 1974-1977.

Earlier this year Universal Pictures announced that it has acquired the rights to The Land of the Lost as a feature film vehicle for funnyman Will Ferrell.  The adaptation should be fairly simple -- to create a hilarious movie Ferrell will just have to play it straight (in his inimitable bumbling fashion).
