Devil's Due is launching a Family Guy comic mini-series in April.  The bi-monthly series will be written by Family Guy TV series writer Matt Fleckenstein, with art by Benjamin Phillips.  The comic will be published in a 48-page, full color perfect-bound format.

Each of the three volumes of the series will focus on one of the star characters, and will include one-on-one advice on life from the featured character interspersed with the stories.

After surviving cancellation, Family Guy has become a marketing juggernaut, responsible for product sales in a variety of categories.  Three of the top ten TV DVDs of 2005 were Family Guy discs (see 'Three Comics-Related DVDs in the Top 25 of 05').  And over 50 licensees, for products such as trading cards, action figures, and t-shirts, have signed on to produce Family Guy products (see 'Stewie Leads Family Guy Brand Blitz').
