Playmates Toys is distributing 250,000 Marvel Battle Dice samples to over 1,000 middle schools in cities across the U.S.  The free sample includes a single Battle Die plus an exclusive Spider-Man figure (marked with a 'P' instead of an 'S') and rules sheet. The Marvel Heroes Battle Dice is a fast action collectible figure game that is getting considerable play in the mass-market.  In an effort to promote the game in the hobby Playmates is also distributing 15,000 Stealth Wolverine figures to retailers via a promotion with Diamond Comic Distributors.

Playmates is distributing the sample Spider-Man packs to schools in Chicago, Atlanta, Milwaukee, Sacramento, Fort Worth, Pittsburgh and Columbus.
