Neil Gaiman has confirmed (on his Website) that filming of Stardust will begin in Iceland in March, with principal photography slated to start at Pinewood Studios on April 21.  Matthew Vaughn (Layer Cake) is directing this adaptation of Neil Gaiman's fantasy novel (see 'Stardust on Big Screen'). Vaughn also wrote the script (along with Jane Goldman) for the movie based on Gaiman's charming fairy tale, which was published under DC's Vertigo imprint and illustrated by Charles Vess.
