March 30, 2007 has been set as the U.S. release date for the new Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles CGI feature.  Domestic distribution will be handled by Warner Bros., international by the Weinstein Co.  Director/writer Kevin Munroe (see 'Turtles Get a Director') has developed the screenplay in consultation with TMNT co-creator Peter Laird.  CGI animation will be done by Imagi Services in Hong Kong. 

The 'grittier' tone of the film will be echoed in the associated videogame (see 'TMNT Movie Gets Videogame Tie-In'). 

Turtles TV and toys are also gearing up in the wake of the show's return to TV in 2003.  A new TV series set in the future and an associated toy line will be released this fall (see 'Turtles Fast Forward Next Fall').
