Margaret Weis Productions Ltd. has announced the May publication of Out in the Black by Tracy and Laura Hickman, the first full length adventure for the Serenity Role-Playing Game, based on the cult-hit film written and directed by Joss Whedon.  The Serenity RPG debuted at GenCon last year and quickly sold out.  ICv2's authoritative ICv2 Retailers Guide to Games called Serenity 'the red-hottest thing in the RPG category' during the 2005 holiday season.  Other than the core book, the only Serenity RPG release to date has been the Serenity Game Masters Screen (MSRP $14.99).

The husband and wife team of Tracy and Laura Hickman (Ravenloft) drew on stories of western boom towns told by Tracy Hickman's grandmother to create this new Serenity role-playing adventure which takes players to the wildest mining town on the Rim on the trail of one of the biggest secrets from the end of the Unification Wars, the disposition of a treasure of mythic proportions.
