WizKids has announced that it will release a new board game, Oshi:  The Game of Influence, in September.  Oshi will be a two-player game that retails for $24.99.  

 

WizKids' first board game release, Tsuro, sold out shortly after its release last fall and was out of print until this April (see 'Tsuro Second Printing Due in April').  WizKids CEO Jordan Weisman compared the two.  '...[L]ike Tsuro, [Oshi] features a beautifully designed game board and pieces,' he said. 

 

A Japanese legend in which a game given to the emperor by a goddess taught the emperor and his court to temper their influence and power with caution inspired the game play.  Oshi means 'push' in Japanese.
