FUNimation has announced that it will release Robotech:  The Shadow Chronicles (see 'FUNimation Nabs 'Robotech: The Shadow Chronicles'') on DVD on November 21st.

Additional details about the release were also revealed in the announcement.  The feature will resolve the cliffhanger that ended the last series 20 years ago.  Returning characters include Scott Bernard and Vince Grant, who fight to end a decades-long struggle against the alien Invid.  Admiral Hunter will mysteriously disappear. 

Voice actors will include Mark Hamill and Chase Masterson (DS9).  The score will be performed by the Prague Philharmonic Orchestra. 

The animation will feature 'a technological marriage' of CG graphics and anime characters.
