The 9/11 Report: A Graphic Adaptation, the comic version of the 9/11 Commission Report by Sid Jacobson and Ernie Colon, debuted at #6 on the New York Times non-fiction paperback bestsellers list this week (it also debuted strong on the Bookscan graphic novel list, see ''Naruto' Vol. 11 Tops Chart').  Press attention surrounding the fifth anniversary of the terrorist attacks and this unique use of the comics medium has the potential to further boost interest and sales on this title over the next few weeks.

At this pace, The 9/11 Report could follow in the footsteps of Art Spiegelman's In the Shadow of No Towers, which was the top dollar graphic novel of 2004 (see 'Top '04 Bookstore Graphic Novels').
