Geneon has announced three new anime series for December release:  Disgaea, Fate/Stay Night, and Paradise Kiss.  The first volume of each will retail for $29.98, or $39.98 with a collectors box.

 

Disgaea Vol. 1: The Netherworld Prince is based on the PS2 RPG videogame.  The Disgaea 2 game was released at the beginning of September, with 100,000 units sold to date.  Disgaea is targeted to viewers 13 and older.  The Disgaea manga is available from Broccoli Books (see 'Broccoli Books Announces Two New Manga').

 

Fate/Stay Night Vol. 1: Advent of the Magi follows a quest for the Holy Grail. Fate/Stay Night is also targeted to viewers 13 and older. 

 

Paradise Kiss Vol. 1 (see 'Paradise Kiss Anime') tells the story of a stressed out high school girl who makes new friends and discovers life outside of schoolwork.  Paradise Kiss is produced by manga and anime vet Ai Yazawa, features opening theme music by Tommy February6 and closing theme music by Franz Ferdinand, and is geared for viewers 16 and older.  The Paradise Kiss manga is available from Tokyopop.

 

Girls Bravo Complete Box (see 'Geneon Plans Two New Series For June') set, NC-17 rating, will also be released in December for $119.98 MSRP, collecting the previously released volumes.  The Girls Bravo manga is available from Toykopop.
