Mongoose Publishing has announced that it will be releasing roleplaying products based on characters and creations from the Judge Dredd comic property, using the d20 rules system.  The first release will be the Judge Dredd RPG, shipping in April, a 256-page hardcover.  A couple of months later, Mongoose will publish a Slaine RPG.  Judge Dredd, of course, is the long-running comic property that sprang from the pages of 2000 AD (and made it to the silver screen in an ill-fated adaptation featuring Sylvester Stallone).  Future releases will support Dredd, Slaine, and 'new characters and games inspired by the well-known comic.'

The Mongoose release is drawing not only from the comic property, but from the creative talent that has worked on the property in the past.  While no names are being released at this time, Matthew Sprange of Mongoose told us that there will of involvement from both the artists and original writers of Judge Dredd.  Sprange also said that they've also tracked down some of the writers that worked on the Games Workshop Judge Dredd Game in the 80s.
