ICv2 Graphic Novel Conference--2007The New Trends Shaping Pop CulturePublished: 12/04/2006 12:00am
FEBRUARY 22, 2007--JAVITS CENTER, NEW YORK CITY Graphic novels were one of the fastest growing areas of publishing again in 2006, with the top selling manga series hitting new highs, explosive growth in the number of library editions and titles for children, continued expansion of the number of titles tied to movie and TV projects, and non-fiction emerging as an expanding use of the medium. TIME AND PLACE The ICv2 Graphic Novel Conference will be held at the Javits on the eve of the New York Comic Con -- Thursday, February 22nd 1-5 p.m., with cocktail party to follow.
