Vertical Inc., the independent New York-base outfit that has published Osamu Tezuka's 8-volume Buddha biography as well as Tezuka's mammoth Ode to Kirihito, will continue its mission to demonstrate to Americans the more literary and adult side of the Astro Boy creator with the June 2007 publication of Apollo's Song ($19.95). It will be published as a single-volume 544-page graphic novel utilizing the same design format and trim size as the Buddha series.
