The Upper Deck Company has announced the hiring of Greg Goldstein as Vice President of Gaming and Entertainment.  Goldstein, who has a B.A. from the State University of New York at Binghamton and a Masters from Columbia, has a wealth of experience in the pop culture field.  Most recently he was the founder and CEO of Popmania, a development and brand licensing agency focusing on digital entertainment.  Prior to Popmania Greg worked at Acclaim and Activision.  Card retailers will no doubt remember Greg from his stints at Inkworks and Topps.

With the growing confluence between online and interactive entertainment and the world of trading card games Goldstein's experience with interactive media undoubtedly made him especially attractive to Upper Deck.
