Ron Catapano of Ron's Comic World in Mount Holly, New Jersey, is disappointed in the quality writing and art in recent Flash issues:

I've been a fan of Flash in its many incarnations for decades and have been a fan of Mark Waid since his early days on this title, but I have to say that since the return of Wally (& Waid) this book has been getting progressively worse.

While the writing on this book has been weak at best, the artwork has been a disgrace.  I just attempted to get through the latest issue (#236) and had to stop, it was that bad.

I feel bad for Tom Peyer because he will soon be writing this title, and it won't matter how well he does his job because DC has the same artist staying on the book.

I've been reducing my orders for the last five months, and after this latest issue I've just cut my orders by half again, even with a new writer.  If sales continue to drop, DC may as well kill another Flash because they are doing a good job of killing his book.
