Kevin Siembieda of Palladium Books told us at Gen Con that the producers will soon decide whether to go ahead with the Rifts feature film based on the latest version of the script.  The script is being written by Rawson Marshall Thurber, also tapped for the Elfquest film (see “Elfquest at Warners”).   The previous version of the script (see “Rifts Movie Has a Screenwriter”) didn’t work out.
