A spokesperson for ADV has confirmed to ICv2 that ADV will be releasing the Clannad anime series in 12-episode half-season sets under the Sentai Filmworks label. The first Clannad Box Set (MSRP $39.98) will be released on March 3rd. Two weeks later on March 17th ADV will release a 14-episode Princess Resurrection Box Set ($39.98) also under the Sentai Filmworks imprint.  Both releases will be subtitled only.

ADV had previously announced that it would release both series in single-volume 4-5 episode discs in both English-dubbed and subtitled versions (see “Clannad Leads ADV Announcements” and “ADV To Distribute Princess Resurrection Anime”).  In addition to completely revise the format, ADV has also moved up the release of Clannad, the eagerly awaited 24-episode series from Kyoto Animation, from late April to early March.  ADV had previously resisted releasing new material in multi-disk, half-season sets, questioning the economic viability of the format, but in the case of Clannad and Princess Resurrection, ADV had evidently decided to experiment with the increasingly popular half-season format that provides consumers with a lower per-episode cost.
