Sony Pictures Worldwide Acquisitions Group has acquired the U.S. rights for the live action Blood:  The Last Vampire (see “Blood:  The Last Vampire Live Action”).  It will be released in theaters by Samuel Goldwyn Films “later this summer,” according to the announcement. 

The film is being released in Europe in June, by Pathe (see “Blood:  The Last Vampire Debuting in June”).
