The latest clip from Marc Webb’s The Amazing Spider-Man finds our hero being pursued by 38 of New York’s finest, but evading the police is not what this clip is about.  It’s about the sheer exuberance of being able to swing through the urban jungle like a greased Tarzan swinging through a B movie rain forest.  It's about motion for the sake of motion, the reckless joys of youth and it’s easily the most kinetic clip from the Spidey reboot yet.

All the attention has been the mega-success of The Avengers and the immense box office that Christopher Nolan’s The Dark Knight Returns is sure to attract, but Webb’s Spider-Man  reboot is the summer’s wild card and maybe the trickiest proposition of them all.

With the nationwide debut of The Amazing Spider-Man on July 3rd, now less than a month away, the pace of release of new promo material has really picked up (see "New 'Spidey' Clip and Still").
